What happens after an order is placed?On receipt of an order, we will contact the seller or agent by telephone to arrange a suitable appointment. All our appointments are made for a specific time so sellers are not unduly inconvenienced. We understand the need for a quick turnaround so we aim to make contact within three working hours of receiving the order and we inform our customers once an appointment has been arranged. At the time of the appointment, the surveyor will visit the property and carry out an energy performance survey. This typically takes between 40 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of the property. The surveyor prepares the Energy Performance Certificate based on the findings of the survey and this is emailed or uploaded to customers' software within 24 hours of the appointment taking place. |
