All About HIPs
On August 1st 2007 the requirement to produce a Home Information Pack (HIP) prior to marketing the sale of a domestic property became mandatory. The government has introduced these measures to make buying and selling residential properties easier, and to speed up the sales process.
As an independent and local company, our aim is to provide a straight forward and flexible approach to Home Information Packs, and to offer individual HIP solutions tailored to each client’s requirements.

Our approach to Hip’s is different, its based on choice, research has shown, that by providing all the relevant information of a standard pack, plus more detailed informative information, including a (HCR) and details of improvements and guarantee’s on recent work, a properly structured Pack will help achieve the best possible outcome for the seller and buyer and speed up the sales process.

As the Home Information Pack is built around the Energy performance Certificate (EPC), and may also include a Home Condition Report (HCR) which is optional, we will deliver a first class service, on time; we will collate the pack working with each individual component supplier, using state of the art technology, and will remain completely impartial, and ensure that we act in your best interests. Our Surveyors are trained to the highest standards.
We work with Search Providers, local Solicitors and Estate Agents, this enables you to choose your own solicitor, and if you intend to market your property through an Estate Agent, we can work with them, or if you decide to change agents, our HIP stays with you.
