How we work
We operate through a team of professional and experienced project managers and surveyors. This involves initial meetings telephone or e-mail discussions, general advice including an approximate cost of the work, site visits and preparation of a short list of your requirements together with the preliminary measurements.
The Home Improvement Advisory Service has created a “trusted suppliers and tradesmen scheme". The companies or individual tradesmen in the scheme have been thoroughly screened and vetted by us. Using this consumer friendly service enables you to get value for money quotes. We treat all enquires confidentially and protect your personal details.
All the specifications of your project and any relevant drawings are then put into a clear and concise report. Your project manager will then contact you to discuss all the options and the quotes we have gathered on your behalf. He/she will provide further assistance in organising all the paperwork and detailed specification of your contract.
We will liaise with you and the selected company throughout the duration of the project and will be available for a final audit upon completion. All payments are staged and agreed in writing before work starts. It is a precondition that our 'trusted suppliers' provide an independent insurance backed warranty.
